The best investment an individual or a company can make is in the next generation: those who are presently in elementary, middle, and high school who, in a few years, will be filling the roles of parents, productive workers, business owners, and leaders in our communities.
The teachers and staff at The Pinnacle work tirelessly to prepare this next generation to become educated, well prepared, and productive citizens. We get maximum usage of the resources that are available to us in order to meet requirements and goals for our students.
The Pinnacle needs strong partners to ensure we continue to be the most excellent educational choice in the community.
We invite you to invest in one of the following projects:
Hi-Tech Classrooms: We currently have four classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards. Our goal is to make all of our 80+ classrooms technologically state-of-the-art. This includes an LCD projector, an interactive white board, a five station computer lab for students, and a sound system in each classroom. We need $8,000 per classroom to meet this goal for our students.
Updating Curriculum: A process of upgrading the curriculum needs to take place very three years to assure that our students are utilizing the most up-to-date texts (either hard copy or on-line) and instructional materials. Curriculum upgrades costs
$25,000 per grade level.
Linguistically Diverse Program: The influx of non-English speaking students to The Pinnacle along with the difficulty some of our students experience in reading and writing led to combining our English Language Acquisition and Literacy programs.
To increase the positive impact this program is having on students who need assistance in language and language arts skill development, additional teachers,
para-professionals (aides), specialized software programs and instructional materials are needed. Approximately 40% of our student population are in need of these services – or about 750 Pinnacle students. This program costs approximately $690 per student. We currently receive $430 per student from Federal grants for this program.
Technology: To ensure Pinnacle Students continually excel in the use of technology, the school needs $100,000 per year for network and equipment. Funding currently received from the State covers about $50,000 per year.
Athletics Equipment and Personnel: We currently compete in the Frontier League in football, basketball, volleyball, and soccer. We also have a cheerleading team. Our goal is to add baseball and softball and offer these and other sports to our middle school students. New athletic programs require uniforms, coaches, and equipment along with replacement costs for our current programs. $150,000 per year is needed to accomplish this.
Theater in the Performing Arts Complex at PCS: The theater is a vital tool for The Pinnacle’s educational program. Families often fill the seats to enjoy student performances. The Performing Arts Complex at PCS is also a popular venue for the surrounding community. To bring the theater from a good to an outstanding performance complex, work on the acoustics, sound systems, and lighting is needed. The cost for this is $70,000.
Athletic Facility: The demand for a variety of athletic programs for students in each of our grades increases with the growth of our school. The Pinnacle has been creative in finding ways to make our students successful in the athletic programs we offer. We need $3 million to purchase and develop land for an off-site stadium, fields for baseball and softball, and a track. These additions will enable us to offer a quality sports program to complement our fine educational program.
Your generous contributions can help us reach these goals. All gifts to PCS make a difference and we want your giving experience to be meaningful and rewarding. You may designate your gift to a specific program that has special meaning for you, or simply ask that it be used where the need is greatest.
You may make a tribute gift, to honor or memorialize someone special. You may make a gift as an individual, or from your business – anonymously, or not. 100 percent of the gift is distributed as you, the donor, request.
Did you know that The Pinnacle is classified as a 501(c)3 organization by the IRS? This means that our school qualifies as a non-profit organization and any donation you make to the school is TAX-DEDUCTIBLE.
